Cables and wires are essential in wind power as they transmit energy from the wind turbine to the socket. Within the wind turbines, control and data cables are used that have to withstand extreme conditions in terms of temperature and flexibility. Copper and aluminium cables are used to transport the generated electricity over long distances.
